The APS 5201 replacement bulb is a perfect fit for Subzero part # 7014669.
This bulb in used in the dispenser area of model numbers 590, 680 and 690.
This bulb is also used in the thermostat illumination area in most 500 series units.
When the original bulb fails, the dispenser panel for ice and water will no longer be illuminated when turned on. It will also cause the thermostat numbers on older 500 series units to go dark.
The dispenser area light bulbs are accessible from the open dispenser area, without removing any parts.
The thermostat indicator bulbs on the 500 series units, require removal of the refrigerator shelves and the white interior back panel to obtain access.
